I'm the thinnest during High School. Recently, my face looks really young. When I met up with Grandma or other relatives, they said that my face looks like when I was in primary school. My hairstyle changed a lot too. I've always been told that brown hair suits me best, but no matter which style, I like all of them. I'm considering whether to change to another style.

4th Anniversary - Most Interesting Event -Happened in Nagoya, Koyama was stripped!

Earlier on during the concert tour, in the resting room in Nagoya, everyone stripped Koyama, nothing was happier than this incident.(変態--Initially it seemed that Tegoshi was trying to remove Koyama's clothes, I helped too! Then more helping hands came.In the end, it became the entire News getting involved! While avoiding, Koyama seemed to be enjoying the whole process.(Laugh) Incidents like this, it was impossible to think of when News was first formed. To be able to behave like brothers, relationship improving, it's all because of the revival of NewS.

4th Anniversary - Most Shocking Event - Did not expect Shuji to Akira  becoming so successful!

"Seishun Amigo" becomes so popular, I was shocked! When Shuji to Akira was formed, no one had expected the sales results to be so good. Due to this, I had gone out for meals with Kame. Recently, I met up with him again. We talked about topics like we've both become adults etc. We've known each other since middle school, we've gone through fights too! No matter what, "Seishun Amigo" is still regarded as one of the top Karaoke songs.(Laugh)

4th Anniversary - Most Touching Event - Everyone was really waiting for us!

At the revival  Live concert, many fans came, it was the most touching moment.When the curtain was down, the moment we saw the fans, that type of happiness was unforgetable. Really felt that they were waiting for us to come back. From then onwards, I want to bring happiness to everyone. When all the activities were suspended, I still received fan letters, really felt very happy. Received the energy from them, I replied too.The existence of fans is the most touching event.

Recent activity, besides News. - Went shopping for chairs with Akanishi.

Accompanied Akanishi to buy things. That fellow bought a chair. Both of us tried out different types of chairs. Finally, we agreed on one based on our preference.

I was very glad during the concert tour, as I was able to interact with the members of NEWS more frequently. Due to the concert, we went to many places, one of the members even brought back the local products, it was rather interesting. There was an onsen in the hotel in Kagoshima, Ryochan, Shige, Koyama and I went to soak in the onsen; the 4 of us, viewed the distant Sakurajima in the nude, this kind of image is still in my mind now! (Laugh) In Hiroshima, due to the cancellation of the flight, we had to stay one more night there. I went out for dinner with Ryochan, we had a long chat. After that, we went to the Atomic Bomb Museum. Of all the places that we went, the place that left me with the deepest impression must be Hiroshima, I even learnt a bit of their local dialect. Since it was a last minute decision to stay an extra night, I feel that I was fated to learn more about this place. Notice that the tourists here were very lively.

Let's change the topic for the month. The part which I love most about myself has to be my chest, because it's thick enough. I used to be very concerned about my skinniness in the past, of course, when I was in my teens, that was OK, but now that I'm into my twenties, I want to be a man that can protect others, therefore I started to do weight-training. There's no particular part that I hate about myself. From very long ago, my speciality has always been my voice, therefore I did not really like my voice. But now, that thinking has changed, that's because, when one hears a song, one can easily tell that it was sung by me.

Among the members, I feel that the one with the best....smile is Massu! I feel that no matter when, Massu is always with a smiling face, that's the best! When we are together talking about cars, models etc, Massu's dimples, laugh lines will show up. On Yes! I want to tell every member, Thank you for sending me messages on my birthday!(Laugh)

I feel that a girl should know how to cook. For me, if I fall in love with a girl who does not know how to cook, I really do not know what to do! I really feel like eating something cooked by the person I like. Even if she added the wrong seasonings, I think I'll still eat and say that it's delicious at the same time. Rainy Days

As I was surfing the net, I came across an article in a Pichan's forum, it attracted my attention because I was amazed at how similar our views are on rainy days.

However, the translator did not know when he wrote this and where it was from, the only information was that this was written years ago!

I hate the rain!

It's so troublesome, can't stand the humid feeling!

In one of my former dramas, I was being sprayed water by an obasan.

Even though it was not rainwater, I was wet through because of the water from the hose.

Since it was not possible to successfully film that scene in one take, I had to wait until I was dry throughout to shoot the scene again.

Even if it was not rainwater, to get wet in a drama was not enjoyable at all.

I think I hated the rain since I was young.

I don't have memories of playing in the rain at all.

I don't like umbrellas; especially dislike raincoats.

Ah! But there's something good related to rainy days.

If the drama filming is in early mornings, it is not easy to get out of bed. Let me sleep 10 minutes more…5 minutes more, while I'm still battling with the sleepy bug, the phone rings!

When I was in primary school, if excursions and sports days were cancelled due to the rain, I really hated that!

In the rain, it was my turn to do the relay race.

What's the scent of Summer?

To me, the scent of summer is not the scent of a particular object, but the scent of the heat or fine weather of summer. 'Ah! Summer…..'Even though it feels good, before this is the wet season! If that can be skipped, it will be great! Although it will not affect me physically, it's a mental torture. (Laugh) Will feel agitated! If not for the humidity, I love the summer in Japan very much. In my memory, the scent, music, light, temperature etc…. are still there. The scent of the sea that I used to visit during the first year of high school, the aroma of the kimchi-fried rice by the beach, the song by BGM, it was so delightful~.

The Long Vacation Dream

"I love to work. But, that's because there's rest time so I like working."—This passionate guy who is completely faithful to the things he likes, also treasures those that are against his will. A person who finds happiness from his everyday life, Yamapi is going to share with you his views on his likings.

From the twice-a-week yakiniku to the 1 person = 100 persons friend, I like them all.

Sushi, yakiniku, yukke, sea, time spent with friends, drama, Hawaii, the smell of soap, salad, dogs, pet, onsen, boiled eggs, clouds, white roses, wave-boarding, gold, Southern All Stars…………..there are still a lot of things that I like. "Liking", not a bad word at all! This word consists of many optimistic notions: happiness, blissful feelings, it's those things that can brighten-up by themselves.

Now, maybe not, it's my whole life, the thing that I like most is yakiniku. I have it twice a week. Even when I'm busy with my work, I will find time to eat it. Approximately about 2 days, I will have the urge to eat meat, "Ah! Want so badly to eat yakiniku~."Then I will meet up with my friends to go and eat it. Yukke, salt-baked cow tongues, beef, and sometimes cow stomach, basically, if it's something that I like to eat, even I have to eat it often, I will not get tired of it. Just like today, while working, I suddenly feel like eating yukke and bibimbab from a certain shop, I decided to order takeaway. But that shop was closed (cry). Why? My stomach is all prepared to eat it already!! Can you understand this kind of feeling? Ah~, cannot do without it. Really feel like eating my most beloved meat and rice. Not long ago, my friend and I were supposed to go to a yakiniku shop, he suddenly changed his mind and said, "I feel like eating pasta," I was troubled a little then. If it's like sushi then it's fine, because it's made from rice, but pasta………… it's totally different!! Wave-boarding is one of the events that I come to like because of the influence of others. Frankly speaking, I did not even want to try at the beginning, that's because wave-boarding was just a smart-looking sports event to me then. However, someone I know asked me to go along, since that was a chance hard to come by, I gave it a try. That amazing feeling that I experienced the first time I got on a wave, that kind of happiness, I still can remember it clearly. I truly feel that : those who go wave-boarding are not because it is a sports that makes them look smart. Compared to those who are really passionate about the sports, I am just a beginner. But I really got the "totally overjoyed" feeling when I got on the wave.

I am a person who distinguishes love and hate very clearly. When I like someone, those around me should be able to tell it straightaway…………. Umm….not very sure. There's someone who asked me, "You like that fellow, right!" In situations like this, I will say frankly, "Yes, I like." I will surely not say, "No, that's not the case," to cover-up. Why should I lie? Those who say that will just let their chances slip away. The guy who asked that kind of question may also like the same girl. You definitely do not want to lose out by not telling the truth. By telling the truth, that guy may take a step back and you will have one opponent less. It's not worth giving up the chance so easily. If I ask my friend, "What do you think of the girl?" And his reply is like, "Ah, nothing special, "it's OK with me. On the other hand, I will even be more inspired by this, "Then, I alone will like her!" The person who makes the last decision is myself, because my own feeling is the final answer. Therefore, I have never been affected by the totally-opposite opinion of my friends.

I will not say 'Aishiteru' (I LOVE YOU) these 5 words easily. In my opinion, these words cannot be said out easily. If it's not because of just saying 'Like" is insufficient, then saying "I love you" is like telling lies. Even if it's at the concert that I like very much, I have never said "I love you". In the TV drama "Propose Daisakusen", Kenzo obviously wanted to confess to Rei, but he wasted all his chances. For this, I really couldn't help but became anxious. As long as the two persons are together, you can say it anytime you like, isn't it? To confess to her, compared to things like the rooftop, fireworks and yukata, isn't timing more important? My mabudachi is living his daily life with happiness, can I say that he is smart-looking but full of vigor, that's why I feel like hanging around him. Spending a lot of time together, understanding each other, these are what I consider to be the most important things. As for girls, I've never had the experience of love at first sight. But there are cases like at the beginning, there's no special feeling for the other party, however, as time goes by, the feeling gets stronger each day, and suddenly, you just like that person. This kind of feeling is deeper, isn't it? Is it because it's under very calm situation that you begin to understand the other party? Compared to typing my meaningless report, I decided to do something that I think I will enjoy doing. The report can wait, afterall it's not due yet! Decided to translate the latest seventeen 0409 issue. This is my favourite Pichan-related magazine. That's because you can really get to know what kind of person he is. And I think he really wrote his feelings down frankly.

This issue is about the things he likes in life. And just as I expected, he will never leave out food! That's his life, I guess! But then again, whose life is not depended on food! He is truly a meat-eater, cannot live without his beloved yakiniku! Such a cute guy, I would love to see the way he eats that! "Stomach all prepared for a certain food~"This part really makes me laugh! And because of rice, he begins to like  the rain. Pichan, you are really really a very down-to-earth guy, how can I not love you for that?

Yes, I do agree that wave-boarding is not just a sports to make onself look smart only. You really must have the passion and courage to overcome the waves that come your way one after another. I really admire those people who are able to do that 'cause I'll never be able to do it! I am just a timid mouse, to just think of going near those strong waves already can get me shiver. But Pichan, I'm sure you will be as good as those you mentioned in the article one day. It's just a pity that you do not have many chances to go wave-boarding!

Pichan really have a way to fend off his opponents if he likes someone! But if a guy could do that, he will definitely win the girl over! Wish you good luck if that kind of situation ever happens. From here, I can also tell that Pi is a strong-willed person. If he sets out to do something, he really will stick to the task and not give up easily. Even if it's against his friends' will.

It's rather easy to find girls who love to eat but whether they know how to enjoy food as much as Pichan is another question. It's really touching to hear that Pichan say that he would find places with the most delicious food for his girlfriend just to hear her say that it's delicious.

[S] is for Special. My birthday this year was special and full of pleasant surprises! On that day, I received a lot of blessings, is by far the best birthday I ever had! I received a lot of messages, answered many phone calls and once I reached home, I found out that many of my good friends had gathered at my home to wish me "Happy Birthday!" There were altogether eight of them, including Ryochan. On that day, there was a concert, and we said goodbye to each other after that. But when I got home, he was there! I was shocked, "Ryochan!? Majide!!"

[P] is P as in YamaP! Maybe I have been thinking too much! But when I see P, I can only think about myself! I really have been called "P" too often! Now, at the drama set, I've been called "Pidan" as well! In the beginning, they addressed me as "P Sama", but "P Sama" gave a very arrogant feeling so I decided to change to a more friendly way of naming. In the end, they decided to call be "Pidan"!Actually I have no association with the letter "P" at all. Then why am I called "P" now? Ever since Takki called me "YamaP", this name has become widespread in Japan! After 10 years, this name has become fixed on me, YamaP has become my name! That's because for nearly half of my life, people have been calling me by this name.

[R] is for Ryochan! After P, it is really followed by this. My friendship with Ryochan is as long as "YamaP the name"!

[I] is for I, myself, my recent activities. Now, a lot of work has been overlapping, I can easily said that this is the busiest period so far, therefore, physically, the burden is quite heavy! But I'm very happy! The staff and co-actors of my new drama are very cheerful, our relationship is quite good, so we got along well in a relaxed and natural mode. And I'm not pressurized at all! Only that the process of shooting, sometimes it was smooth-going but other times, it was not. However, I was very calm throughout! When I did the time-travelling, I had to say "No~". Initially, it was really not easy to produce the right sound for that! I had never shouted "No~" before, so I was not used to it! Recently, I've got used to it, so now I could shout it out naturally!

[N] is for News! During the concert tour, we went to Kagoshima! As there were hot spring baths in the hotel, I had a "bare" experience with the members! Furthermore, during the concert tour, every member took turns to treat the others to the local specialties. This is the first time we are doing this, the food is just so delicious.........These concerts really made me feel that : We have really come to these places! What should I treat the others? Mine will be in Hokkaido, so it's not my turn yet! ( Note: This interview was done before the concerts in Hokkaido.) Now I'm considering!

[G] is for Good! Isn't this the word to use when someone's in a good condition? Therefore it's used to praise a person when you feel like telling him that he feels good! So, I have to use it on others more often and hope that others will say the same about me! To do this, you have to be broad-minded! After watching my shows or listening to my songs, if I was praised by these people, I would be very happy! After the first episode of "Kurosagi",  Mr Yamasaki told me that I was good! For this, I would never ever forget througout my life!
